GUJI CHARITY DAY 2020

CELEBRATING GUJI CHARITY DAY 2020 IN NENAGH ON THE 1 ST OF FEBRUARY

24th January, 2020 - Newly opened Guji Boutique Coffee Bar in Nenagh is hosting GUJI Charity Day 2020 on Saturday, 1 February, bringing community together to support one Irish charity from a short list of five developed by the staff and chosen by customers on the day. This is the beginning of the annual charity event when for one day every year, GUJI will raise money and give 100% of company revenue to the charity chosen by its customers.

When looking at the devastation across the world, it is important to step back and realise how fortunate we all are to have families, friendships, jobs, skills, and opportunities to learn, travel, upskill, and better ourselves every day. It’s been only few months since GUJI has opened its doors, serving specialty coffee, and to mark the new year, GUJI would like to do something meaningful, rewarding, and charitable to recognize that. GUJI Boutique Coffee Bar is taking this opportunity to support a good cause with a significant contribution—not just all sales from coffee, food, and retail items. The GUJI Team is also contributing hours equal to a day’s pay, so that wages can be donated to the charity day fund as well.

Visit GUJI Boutique coffee bar on the 1st of February 9am-5pm for GUJI Charity Day 2020 and shop as normal. Instead of putting the money in the till for whatever you buy, you will contribute the coffee bar’s regular set prices to the Charity Jar. On the day you will be asked to vote for an Irish charity doing incredible work across a diverse range of causes; the charity receiving the most votes will receive all the proceeds from the day’s trading and donated staff hours.

About GUJI Boutique Coffee Bar GUJI Boutique Coffee Bar is Nenagh’s first specialty coffee bar, providing the fine flavours of a variety of single origin coffees. The coffees served in GUJI are roasted locally in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands by The Old Barracks Coffee Roastery, which specializes in roasting the world’s greatest coffees for its coffee bar customers and high-end cafes across the country. Introducing a unique set-up and a brand new concept to Ireland’s coffee scene, GUJI represents freedom and diversity, encouraging the local community to join the GUJI Boutique Coffee Bar on a journey through the specialty coffee experience. Sit in or take away brewed or as beans for home brew, equipment for which is also available.
