David Gray set for Nenagh Arts Centre visit

Acclaimed English singer-songwriter David Gray is set to perform at Nenagh Arts Centre on Sunday 8th December.

Taking a break from mixing his forthcoming album to play an early winter tour in Ireland, Gray will play an intimate show in the Arts Centre.

With 12 million album sales, the bestselling album in Ireland ever with ‘White Ladder’, a BAFTA nomination for his soundtrack work on Amma Assante’s 2004 film ‘A Way Of Life’, two Ivor Novellos, a Q award, two Brit nominations and a Grammy nomination, this marks the forthcoming show as one of the most exciting of the season.

Tracks such as ‘This Year’s Love’, ‘Late Night Radio’, ‘The One I Love”, ‘Babylon’, ‘Please Forgive Me’ and ‘Sail Away’ have already entered the canon of great songs and Gray’s career has been one of extraordinary highs following his breakthrough with the aforementioned ‘White Ladder’ album which sold over 100,000 copies here in Ireland.

The concert on December 8th is already sold out, owing to interest from David’s large Tipperary fan-base. Patrons should go to www.davidgray.ie or www.nenagharts.com for further details.
