Sinead’s daughter is currently working in Nepal. Fionnuala Daffy is the director of Tsoknyi Gechak Primary school,Chobhar, Kathmandu. It is a residential school for young Buddhist nuns.
Fortunately the school building is ok following the devastating earthquake of April 25 th. but many houses in nearby villages have fallen and the buildings left standing are badly damaged. The people are destitute and the money raised for the Nenagh Nepal Earthquake fund will be used to provide food, clothing and emergency accommodation for them.
