On Thursday 26th March 2015, Suaimhneas Cancer Support Centre will host an essential service for women by offering a caring and professional bra and prosthesis fitting service. It is open to all women who have had full or partial breast surgery for breast cancer, regardless of when you have had surgery.
This service helps women in their recovery from Breast cancer as it enables them to regain confidence after having surgery. Appointments will take place on a one-to-one basis in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with privacy and confidentiality assured. Swimwear will also be available to fit on the day.
The fittings will be carried out by two nurses Kate and Liz from Bellissima, Bra Fitting Service, Cork. This service is run on an on-going basis from Suaimhneas Cancer Support Centre, Nenagh.
