CareyGlass International started business in 1965 when three brothers in Nenagh, County Tipperary decided they could make difference in the local market, as it continues to grow to a multi national concern, the same principles remain at the heart: to improve and increase the products and service offered. Initially, CareyGlass International supplied mirrors and bevelled glass as the markets developed into insulated glass and tempered glass we installed the best equipment available and have reaped the rewards of shrewd investment. Growing with the market has meant CareyGlass now has 7 tempering plants along with 10 automated IGU production lines, we have paint lines, screen printing, laminating in PVB as well as EVA, heat soaking and the most complicated CNC edgeworking machines to work on bespoke. Our tempering and IGU manufacturing is based around our maximum manufacturing size of 6000 x 3210. We still process mirrors and bevelled glass, we have just added more to our offer over the years. There’s more to come as we enter an era where glass is more than just a functional substrate used to allow light into a structure.
The Carey family are still at the core of this business and they drive the way forward through an experienced and diverse management team who are experts in their field. Our 85,000m2 production centre in Ireland is the largest single site glass processing facility in Europe and as the undisputed independent market leader we continue to invest and grow expanding into markets through a policy of continuous investment in people, technology and systems
Our customers drive our business so our product range expands continuously in response to the many diverse and complex projects we secure; we don’t wait for solutions, we create them. We recognise the customers needs and respond accordingly, listening is included in our service.
