Members please note the next few upcoming walks.
Sunday 27th Maura 086 8360621 will lead a 'C' walk on the Lough Derg Way from Garrykennedy to Youghal. 'C' walks are ideal for prospective newcomers to sample what hill walking is all about or for hillwalkers who prefer a more leisurely pace.
Other upcoming walks to look forward to is our xmas walk which will be lead by Cyril 086 3721862 and will start from the Graves of the Leinstermen followed by a meal in the Thatch Cottage Ballycommon on Sunday 4th December. Names for the meal are now been taken by Margaret 087 2369564.
Watch out for details of walks to Scohaboy Bog Cloughjordan and Coum Woods which will take place within the next few weeks.
Non-members are welcome to do 3 walks before joining the club.
Members will continue to walk the by-pass for the dark evenings of the Winter months on Tuesday nights. Meet at Tesco Car Park at 7.30. Don't forget a torch. Contact Martin 087 2562454 for information.
Membership of the club is €45 which includes membership of Mountaineering Ireland.
