Nenagh Tourist Office 2016

Tipperary County Council is pleased to announce the re-opening of the FáilteIreland Tourist Office in Nenagh on a full time basis for the summer months.

The Tourist Office will be located in the old motor tax building in Banba Square from the 14 th June 2016. Visitors are welcome to call and find out information on the various attractions and events in the area.

There is a lot to see and do – engage in water activities on Lough Derg; see the many scenic towns, villages and amenities; be amazed by historic attractions such as Nenagh Castle, Redwood Castle and the monastic heritage around Lorrha; research your roots through the Nenagh Genealogy & Heritage Centre; visit the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre in Cloughjordan; enjoy the delights of Ballina and the surrounding areas, or partake in the various pursuits that are available including equestrian, fishing, swimming, boating, golf, walking and many more. There is also a wide variety of places to stay and places to eat, drink and be merry. Move on then to other parts of the County where attractions include Damer House and Roscrea Castle in Roscrea, Holy Cross Abbey, the Rock of Cashel, the Swiss Cottage and Cahir Castle in Cahir, the Mitchelstown Caves, the Glen of Aherlow and so on.
