Best of luck to our Senior Hurlers, who begin the 2017 County Championship this Saturday against Kilruane MacDonaghs in Toomevara. The club would encourage as many as possible to make the short journey on Saturday to support the lads.
Our Minor Hurlers ran out 4-24 to 2-08 winners over Lorrha-Rovers in our second game in this years North Championship. It is expected to be a while before our next game, as the competition takes a break for the Leaving Cert.
Senior team sponsorship: As our Senior Hurlers begin their championship campaign next weekend, the club would like to acknowledge and thank Nenagh man Kieran O’Meara and his son Brian, proprietors of Rody Bolands, Rathmines, Dublin for their sponsorship of our senior team this year. A passionate Nenagh Éire Óg man, Kieran went to school in Nenagh and played underage with the club, before moving to Dublin. He set up Rody Bolands in Rathmines in 1994 and since then it has become a favourite meeting point for all Tipperary supporters in Dublin.
