Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival 2014

We’re getting ready to entertain you at the Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival, St. Mary’s Church of Ireland!  Over sixty Christmas tree display places have been allocated already to a diverse group of Nenagh’s charities, businesses, churches and individuals – the overall effect should be spectacular!

As well as the produce stall, the quiz sheets, the raffle and the delicious refreshments (including afternoon tea served from 2.30 - 5.30 pm throughout) we have scheduled various musical and worship events, including:   Carols from Nenagh Town Band Group, Compline by Candlelight, Carols from our own Junior Choir, organ music and a special “Blue Christmas” service.  These will take place at different times throughout the festival, some during festival hours and some from 8pm.  A full programme of events will be issued in December.

So come along and enjoy this event!  You will also be supporting Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and all our local exhibitors.  The festival will run from Sunday 14th until Sunday 21st December, 2-8pm, with official opening on Saturday 13th at 6.30pm, with choir singing the ever popular ‘O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree (of course!).  Admission will be €3 per person, with children (accompanied by an adult) free.   For more information on events, exhibiting, visiting or to join the emailing list for updates, please contact nenaghchristmastreefestival@gmail.com or call 089 4901511.
