Féile na nGael

Nenagh Eire Og players and HWH Bunclody whom we hosted this weekend

Féile na nGael: This weekend we hosted HWH Bunclody from Wexford in the annual Féile na nGael competition and to say all our players had a fantastic weekend is an understatement. We played five matches between Friday and Saturday Lucan Sarsfields, Shannon Rovers, HWH Bunclody, Newcastlewest and Éire Óg Annacarth and had a very enjoyable disco in the clubhouse on Saturday evening. We wish to thank everyone who helped out in anyway including the juvenile and adult clubs for all their help in organising the event, everyone who helped prepare the clubhouse and playing fields, the host families, everyone who kindly prepared food and all those who served it, those who transported our players to the various venues, Shannon Rovers, Roscrea and Borrisileigh GAA clubs for their warm welcome and hospitality when we played there, those who kindly provided sponsorship for the weekend namely The Hibernian Inn, Pat Carey Refrigeration, Easons, The Thatched Cottage, Councillor Seamus Morris, Collins Bakery and Arrabawn Co-Op and most importantly the Nenagh girls themselves who painted a very positive image of our town and club with their good humour, positive attitude and for the massive welcome they gave to their new friends from Wexford. It was a memorable weekend that will live long in the memory.
