Daffodil Day
On Daffodil Day thousands of volunteers around Ireland sell daffodil pins and flowers (on streets, in businesses, homes and shopping centres) to raise money for the Society’s free, nationwide services for those with, and affected by, cancer in Ireland.

Presents Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun” from Monday 23rd March to Saturday 28th March at 8.00pm in The Scouts Hall, Nenagh. Booking will take place from Saturday 14th March at The Scouts Hall. Tickets are €15.

The Fureys in Concert at the Nenagh Arts Centre
Legends of Irish music & song The FUREYS are renowned for their hitsongs such as ‘I will love you’, ‘When you were sweet 16’, ‘The Green fields ofFrance’, ‘The old man’, ‘Red rose café’, ‘From Clare to here’, ‘Her father didn’t like me anyway’, ‘Leaving Nancy’ and ‘Steal away’. The event begins at 8:00pm. Tickets: €25

Nenagh Walking Club Outing to Ballyhoura Mountain
John Kennedy will lead Nenagh Walking Club on the Black Rock Loop down at the Ballyhoura Mountains, contact 087 7995125 for more information.
Nenagh CBS 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk
Nenagh C.B.S will hold a 10K Run and a 5K Run/Walk at 11.00am organized by the Parents Association. Registration will begin at 10.00am in the CBS hall. €10 is the entrance fee, €20 for a family.
There will be prizes for the first male/female home in each event. Also spot prizes.
North Tipperary Ploughing Championships
The Annual North Tipperary Ploughing Championships will take place in Ballincur, Lorrha as the Association celebrates 50 years in existence.
Ploughing, vintage displays, music, dancing, trade stands and bouncy castles will ensure there is something for everyone on the day. The competition was originally scheduled for March 1st but had to be cancelled due to heavy rainfall.
