Who To Talk To Expo 2014

40 Business Support Agencies and Organisations coming to Thurles to meet Tipperary entrepreneurs and owner managers.

Almost 40 business support agencies and organisations will be in attendance in Thurles on 10th September at the 2014 "Who to talk to" event to meet with individuals thinking of starting or developing a business. This year‟s "Who to Talk To" expo will run from 3.00pm to 7.00pm at LIT Thurles and feature information desks, keynote address, new business showcase, retail forum and funding workshops.

"Who to talk to" will open to the public at 3.00pm and will feature a series of short presentations on supports from Enterprise Ireland, Bord Bia, InterTrade Ireland, Department of Social Protection, Fáilte Ireland, Microfinance, Tipperary County Council and the Local Enterprise Office. The key note address will be delivered by Sean O‟Driscoll Group Chairman & CEO of Glen Dimplex Group at 4.00pm. At 6.00pm Bobby Kerr, Dragon‟s Den and Chairman Insomnia Coffee will discuss „Re-energising the Retail Sector‟ and it is anticipated that this seminar and presentation on incentives available will appeal to Chambers and Business Associations in the County.

A new dimension has been added this year - the Business Expo – a showcase of businesses set up in Tipperary over the past 24 months. This expo will act as “a launch pad” for business Promoters, facilitate networking and more importantly provide inspiration and act as a catalyst for individuals attending the event to consider starting or expanding their business.

Connect Ireland will also make a presentation on how local Communities can get involved in supporting job creation in the County and benefit from a financial reward for connections that materialise and lead to new Foreign Direct Investment.

If you are thinking of self employment or already in business and looking for inspiration, motivation, advice, grants, loan finance, training or other supports, the "Who To Talk To" event is ideal as you will be able to talk to everyone you should be talking to over the course of an afternoon, at a single location.
