FBD Insurance County Championships
The action in the FBD Insurance County football championships intensified last weekend and we now know the teams that will compete in this years semi finals. The draws for the various semi finals were made on Tuesday night by the CCC and the three of these semi-finals along with the junior A football semi-finals, and the relegation semi-finals, will be played over the weekend of the 7th of November.
Senior Football
Loughmore-Castleiney v Moyle Rovers on Saturday the 6th in Golden @ 2pm
JK Brackens v Clonmel Commercials on Sunday the 7th in Boherlahan @ 2pm
Intermediate Football
Fethard v Drom & Inch on Saturday the 6th in Littleton @ 2pm
Galtee Rovers v Grangemockler Ballyneale on Saturday the 6th in Cahir @ 2pm
Tom Cusack Cup
Killenaule v Aherlow on Saturday the 6th in New Inn @ 2pm
Eire Óg Annacarty v Rockwell Rovers on Sunday the 7th in Dundrum @ 2pm
Relegation
Cahir v Arravale Rovers on Sunday the 7th in Ardfinnan @ 12pm
Moyne-Templetuohy v Moycarkey Borris on Sunday the 7th in The Ragg @ 12pm
The action this weekend switches back to hurling and what an action packed two days it promises to be, with a total of nine games taking place.
The action gets under way on Saturday at 2.30pm in Semple Stadium with the mouth watering clash of Thurles Sarsfields and Kiladangan in the senior hurling semi final.
At the same time in Golden St Marys and Killenaule meet in their Seamus Ó Riain semi final. Golden is once again the venue for the first game of the day on Sunday when Arravale Rovers and Moyle Rovers will be hoping to retain their Intermediate status for 2022. This game throws in at 12pm. The second of the Seamus Ó Riain semi finals between Cashel King Cormacs and Templederry Kenyons will take place in The Ragg at 1pm, while at 1.30pm both semi finals in the Intermediate hurling championship will throw in.
