Bealtaine Festival at Nenagh Library - Film Fridays

Film fans, each Friday during May at 2pm Nenagh Library will screen one of the classics of the golden era in film. An opportunity to revisit some of your favourite films of yesteryear.

The categories to go forward are: Up to 5 handicap; 6-12 handicap and 13 upwards.

Nenagh Arts Centre presents The Jungle Book on Saturday May 15th

Fearless and free, Mowgli the ‘man-cub’ finds fun and friendship while learning to live by the Law of the Jungle. Mowgli’s daring adventures in the dangerous world he inhabits are brought to life by Indigo Moon Theatre with inventive shadow theatre, original music and colourful digital projection. Jungle Book harkens back to the poetry and spirit of Rudyard Kipling’s original books, presenting a heart-warming quest for love, identity and belonging.

***The duration of this show is 50 Minutes with no interval. For families and children age 4+ ***Saturday 17th May, 3pm Adm €7. Family/group of 3  €15.

An Post Rás 2014

The 2014 An Post Rás will begin in Dunboyne on Sunday May 18th and will feature stage end finishes in Roscommon, Lisdoonvarna, Charleville, Cahirciveen, Clonakilty, Carrick on Suir, Baltinglass and Skerries.

Best of luck to the two local teams taking part, Visit Nenagh.ie and Nenagh CC. On Tuesday 20th May the Rás will be passing through Birdhill at approx 1pm.
