Peugeot 208 R2 debuts at Birr 2013

Andrew Slattery made his debut behind the wheel of the all new Peugeot Ireland backed 208 R2 rally car on Sunday last when he competed in round 1 of the Dunlop National rally Championship at the Birr Stages rally.

Andrew plans to compete on 6 rounds of the Dunlop National Tarmac Championship this year + 1 International Round which will probably be the Ulster International rally.

The crew finished 6th in the R2 class, after a day of teething problems , at the finish Andrew commented “We’re glad to have a finish under our belt, mileage & experience is very important to us, we have loads to learn, we’re a bit disappointed with the few problems we had & the loss of time, but that can happen”
