The Nenagh.ie Mediaeval Fair & People's Picnic takes place on Saturday August 24th from 11.00am in the Castle Field and St Mary's Church grounds. Entertainment and activities will run all day from 11.00am to 5.30pm with the following headline events not to be missed.
1.00pm - 1.30pm - Mediaeval Combat Tournament. Warriors face each other in one vs one combat.
1.30pm - 2.00pm - Music by the Nenagh Mint Jazz Band
2.00pm - 3.15pm - Music by one of Ireland's greatest musicians Paddy Cole
3.30pm - 4.00pm - Mediaeval Battle. Groups of warriors face each other in the melee.
4.00pm - 5.00pm - Music by local band Ebony and Friends
On the day there will be a mediaeval market of food and craft stalls. Activities for the kids include Berg go-kart track, bouncy castle, pottery demos, face painting, horseshoe throwing and more.
The Nenagh.ie Mediaeval Fair and Peoples' Picnic is organised by North Tipperary County Council, Nenagh Town Council and the St. Patrick's Festival Committee with the support of Nenagh Chamber of Commerce, North Tipperary Leader Partnership and Nenagh.ie.
