As the club are now offering a wide variety of hikes on different days, it is important that note is taken of the day, departure time and departure point of the hikes. The schedule can be checked on nenaghwalk.ie.
Thursday August 22nd, departing Tesco at 10.30am for Ormond Way/Templederry. Contact Willie 087 6633577.
Sunday 25th August departing Kenyon Street Car park at the earlier time of 9am to travel to Waterford for a B walk on the Commeragh Mountains. 3 hours approx. Contact Margaret 087 2369564.
Tuesday 27th August, departing Costello's shop at 7pm for the Clare Glens. 1.5 hours approx. Contact Caitriona 086 8185131.
Non-members are welcome to do 3 walks before joining the club, however, we would ask that non members would contact the walk leader prior to the walk to ensure that they have the fitness level required for the walk and discuss walking gear requirement. Likewise any members unsure of hike suitability should ring walk leader before the hike. Membership of the club is €45 which includes membership of Mountaineering Ireland and also covers insurance from November to October. Hiking boots essential for all hill walks. Absolutely no runners.
