Other upcoming Sunday walks to look forward to are challenging walk from Latteragh to Devil's bit.

Tuesday evening walks will shortly be coming to an end and members will then do the bypass for the winter months.

Last of the Summer Wine walks continue on Thursday mornings, Contact Willie 087 6633577.

Exciting things ahead for Thursday walkers.

Members are aware of the epic walk to Dublin via the canal that some members are taking with Donie. The highlight being arrival in Dublin on the day of the Pope.

Thursday walkers have the chance to join Donie on Thursday 16th August, bus departs from St. Mary's of the Rosary at 9am for 22k walk from Sopwell to Lorrha via O'Sullivan Beara Way and 23rd August to join for the 20k walk from Edenderry to Robertstown, booking is essential and contact Donie 087 8761442.

Non-members are welcome to do 3 walks before joining the club, however, we would ask that non members would contact the walk leader prior to the walk to ensure that they have the fitness level required for the walk and discuss walking gear requirement.  #Likewise any members unsure of hike suitability should ring walk leader before the hike.

Membership of the club is €45 which includes membership of Mountaineering Ireland and also covers insurance. Hiking boots only for all hill walks.
