As the club are now offering a wide variety of hikes on different days, it is important that note is taken of the day, departure time and departure point of the hikes.
Thursday June 13th departing Tesco at 10.30am to do part of the Hymany Way. Contact Willie 087 6633577
Sunday June 16th departing from Kenyon street car park at 11am to travel to the Carlow Wexford Border for the Blackstairs Mountains. Contact Aidan 087 9836750.
Tuesday June 18th departing from Costello's at 7.10pm and also meeting at forestry above Step at 7.30pm to do the Silvermines Ridge. Contact Noel Lanigan Ryan 086 3292020.
Non-members are welcome to do 3 walks before joining the club, however, we would ask that non members would contact the walk leader prior to the walk to ensure that they have the fitness level required for the walk and discuss walking gear requirement. Likewise any members unsure of hike suitability should ring walk leader before the hike.
Membership of the club is €45 which includes membership of Mountaineering Ireland and also covers insurance from November to October. Hiking boots essential for all hill walks. Absolutely no runners. Visit our website nenaghwalk.ie for further information about the club and upcoming walks.
