Nenagh Walking Club - Aonach Ar Siúl 04/09/2018

Note details of next Sunday's walk, which is is change from our advertised schedule, 2nd September will be a 4 hour walk around Glenstal, contact Mike 086-0518030 and note earlier departure time of 10am.

Members will then be looking forward to their upcoming trip to Achill Island.

Our Tuesday evening hill walks have now come to an end for the Summer.

For the winter time and dark evenings, members of the club will walk the by-pass, 9k approx, departing from Tesco, 7.30.Last of the Summer Wine walks continue on Thursday mornings, Contact Willie 087 6633577.

30th August meet at Tesco car park at 10.30 where Cyril will lead a new walk around Moylussa.

Thursday 6th September, the club will travel to Killarney for a day's outing. 1 hour boat trip through Killarney lakes to Lord Brandon's Cottage and a 4 hour walk through the wilderness on the Kerry Way via Torc waterfall back to Muckross park. Departing Tesco car part at 7.30am and meeting point in Killarney at Muckross park at the bus parking area t 10am. Booking absolutely essential to Willie to secure your place on the boat.

Non-members are welcome to do 3 walks before joining the club, however, we would ask that non members would contact the walk leader prior to the walk to ensure that they have the fitness level required for the walk and discuss walking gear requirement. Likewise any members unsure of hike suitability should ring walk leader before the hike.

Membership of the club is €45 which includes membership of Mountaineering Ireland and also covers insurance. Hiking boots only for all hill walks. More information from our website nenaghwalk.ie.
