Nenagh Town Council plan to launch a public consultation process before making a decision with regard to the potential relocation of the bus stops on Kickham Street to the Railway Station.
At a recent meeting of Nenagh Town Council Town Manager Marcus O’Connor indicated that three different proposals would be included in the public consultation process. One proposal suggests leaving the bus stops as they are, the second suggests staggering the location of the bus stops to allow for buses to come and go in a more streamlined fashion and the third presents the option of relocating the bus stops to the Railway Station.
Nenagh Town Council have also revealed that the works on the Dromin Road should be significantly progressed prior to Christmas and will be open to traffic before then while associated works will be completed by February.
Town Clerk Dónal Purcell has also revealed that the Choral Society plan to begin work on re-developing the Scout’s Hall next February.
Meanwhile Nenagh Town Council plans to convene a meeting with North Tipperary VEC and Nenagh Vocational School with the stated purpose of advancing a project which could see the development of an all-weather pitch adjacent to Nenagh Vocational School which would be of benefit to all clubs in the town.
