Donnacha Quinn in action against Borris-Ileigh

Charity Walk:  Serving North Tipperary, Limerick and Clare, Milford Hospice provides the highest quality of care to patients, family and friends in areas of palliative care and services to the older people. We are going to climb Croagh Patrick with the aim of raising much needed funds for this incredible organisation. Those that are climbing are Martina Cahill, Mary Murphy, Jackie Holland, TP Sullivan, Enda O’Sullivan, Elaine McWeeney and Bernie Gratton. We guarantee that all money raised will go directly to Milford Hospice. All expenses incurred during the walk will be paid for ourselves. A Go Fund Me page has been set up and can be accessed via our website and social media channels.

Junior-A: Our junior-A hurlers continued their great run of form with a 4-20 to 1-15 win over Borris-Ileigh in Shallee on Friday evening. The goals came from Cian O’Farrell, Killian Malone and Darragh Walsh (2). They now play Burgess in round six on Friday 26 July.

Minor: Our minor hurlers were defeated by Toomevara on Wednesday evening in the opening round of the championship, 2-14 to 0-13. Our next game is expected to be against Roscrea on Wednesday, 24 July.

Tipperary: Congratulations to Jake Morris, Conor McCarthy and the Tipperary under-20 side who defeated Waterford in the Munster semi-final on Tuesday evening last in Semple Stadium, 3-23 to 0-10. Jake was in flying form scoring 0-13 (0-11f) while Conor had a fine game at corner back. They now play Cork in the Munster final. Jake Morris and Barry Heffernan both featured as Tipperary seniors overcame the challenge posed by Laois in Croke Park in the All-Ireland quarter-final. Barry scored a great point in the second half and the team now meet Wexford in two week’s time.

Summer Camp: It’s that time of year again as the club gears up for its annual Summer Camp! It is always a fun week with plenty of sport and laughter. To reserve your child’s place pleas text 086 0855165 ASAP.
