Our senior hurlers exited the Tipperary Water county league at the semi-final stage on Friday evening last in Borrisoleigh following a 2-30 to 1-19 loss to Drom & Inch. Michael Heffernan’s second-half goal wasn’t enough to repel the Drom & Inch attack. The focus for the lads will now shift to the county championship which is not expected to recommence until after Tipperary’s interest in the All-Ireland campaign ends.
Our junior hurlers will play Borris-Ileigh on Friday evening at 7pm in the next round of the North Tipperary championship. With three wins from three the lads will be anxious to maintain their good form. The venue for this fixture has yet to be confirmed. Please check out website during the week for further details.
We extend our congratulations to David Minogue who married the beautiful Ellen Burgess on Saturday in St. Mary’s of the Rosary. We wish the lovely couple many years of health and happiness together.
