Nenagh Eire Og Club Notes 30 November 2020

Tipperary

The very best of luck to the Tipperary senior footballers who will play Mayo on Sunday in the All-Ireland semi-final. The lads will be hoping to reach their first senior final since 1920, played in 1922 due to the War of Independence, where they defeated Dublin 1-6 to 1-2 with Tommy Powell getting the all-important goal. In the semi-final that year they defeated Sunday’s opponents Mayo 1-5 to 1-0.

Tipperary County Board Draw

Congratulations to Jimmy Shanahan who won €1,000 in the recent county board draw.

Tipperary Sports Partnership

Congratulations to everyone who recently completed the Tipperary Sports Partnership course Online Physical Literacy Workshop. It was great that so many from our club took part.
