Tipperary
The very best of luck to the Tipperary senior footballers who will play Mayo on Sunday in the All-Ireland semi-final. The lads will be hoping to reach their first senior final since 1920, played in 1922 due to the War of Independence, where they defeated Dublin 1-6 to 1-2 with Tommy Powell getting the all-important goal. In the semi-final that year they defeated Sunday’s opponents Mayo 1-5 to 1-0.
