Nenagh Eire Og Club Notes 19 January 2021

Young Hurler Nomination

Congratulations to Jake Morris who was nominated for the PWC Young Hurler of the Year over the weekend. Jake had some great performances with Tipp during the year and richly deserves this nomination. He is up against Waterford's Iarlaith Daly and Kilkenny's Eoin Cody and the winner will be announced next month.

Tipperary Draw

The Tipperary Draw has been suspended due to level 5 restrictions. The draws will resume when restrictions are lifted with the remaining six draws taking place every three weeks after that.

A reminder that membership for 2021 is now due and can be paid online at

Healthy Club

The Every Step Counts challenge is up and running since 13th Jan and we now have up to 30 registered with the club. It's not too late to join, just simply download Irish Life's 'My Life App', join the Nenagh Eire Óg team and be part of the walking challenge for the next 7 weeks.

Helping the Community

The club has re-activated our COVID-19 Community Response Team in light of the re-introduction of Level 5 restrictions.

If any member of our community requires support during these difficult times, prescriptions and groceries collected or if we can support you in any way please contact our Community Covid Officer, Bartley Ryan, on 086 735 8359 and a member of our club will be only too delighted to come to your assistance.

Similarly, if any member of our club wants to volunteer to help out please contact Bartley and your name will be added to our response team.

We extend our sympathies to Padraig, Catherine and all the Mc Tiernan family on the death of Padraig's brother Michael. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
