Our u 12s travelled to the Ragg on Saturday to face Mullinahone in the u12 league final .
This team have been working hard under the guidance of the management team of James o Dwyer , Noel Nagle , Martin Kelly and Rose Sheridan and their hard work really paid Off on Saturday with a fine win against a fancied Mullinahone team. The final score was 2.0 to 1.2 with the goals coming from Ella O Brien and a long range free from centre back Clodagh Spain.In reality The hard work hooking and blocking defined the team in this fine win for a dedicated bunch of young ladies . Captain fantastic and full back Samantha Howard was happy to receive the trophy on behalf of her team who celebrate their win as if it was an All Ireland . Minors . Our minor team travelled to Carrick on Suir on Saturday to play the first round of the championship and despite many of the girls taking time off work and parents and management having to make the long trip the game was called off due to the non appearance of the referee.
Fundraiser . The Camogie club has a fundraiser on Sunday at Keith Deanes car wash on the Limerick Road on September 30th and the club are looking for people to turn up to get their cars washed from 12 to 3 . Sunday is a big day for the senior Hurling team why not pop out and get your car washed before you go out to Dolla . Price 10 euros for one car or 15 euros for 2 the money goes towards running the club. Tickets are available from any committee member but you can just turn up on the day and pay.
