The 2019 Nenagh Christmas Tree Festival is being held again this year at St Mary’s Church of Ireland on Church Road in Nenagh. Our partner for this year is CARMHA, Connection And Recovery in Mental Health & Addiction.
The Christmas Tree Festival will be from 11th to 15th December, 1;00-6:30 PM on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10:30 AM-6:30 PM on Saturday and 10:30 AM to the Carol Service, which is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM on Sunday.
CARMHA, which provides free, easy-to-access counselling and support services for people over 18 years with all addiction (alcohol, drugs, gambling) and associated mental health issues, as well as for family members in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Anyone who wants to get in touch with CARMHA can find the office at 81 Silver Street, or by phone 087 7722671 or e-mail: carmha@outlook.ie. We are so lucky to have such a facility right here in Nenagh.
To enter your tree(s), please contact Lisa Drummond by text (086 8206514) or e-mail (lisadrum66@gmail.com) by 6th December. We need your name, your contact details, which category you wish to enter (Business or Retail, Individual, Organisation) and when you hope to bring in your tree(s). Set up times are Saturday 7th from 2-6 PM and Monday 9th from 4-8 PM. Trees can be removed the day after the festival ends, or after Christmas.
We encourage you to use all your creativity and once again make this community event a special time for everyone. It is truly amazing to see what inventive minds can design and develop For the Christmas Tree Festival. We include some pictures from last year’s festival so you can see all the talent we have around here.
