The diving year has come to an end again and the Annual General Meeting of the club was held in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh.
The members of the club thank the committee who have steered the club for the 2011-2012 year. The officers gave accounts of their activities during the year in their respective committee positions. This was the first year there was a report from the Search and Recovery Diving Officer.
The new committee elected by the attendees at the AGM are as follows - the positions are according to section seven of the club constitution. We wish them well in their work over the coming year. Club members should support the committee by attending meetings and taking part in club activities - Chairperson: Brian Hoare, Vice-Chairperson: Pat Donnellan, Diving Officer: Tom Shaw, Search and Recovery Dive Officer: Mike Hogan, Secretary: Eileen Finn, Treasurer: Colin Callway, Child Protection Officer: Josie Morgan, Public Relations Officer: Derry O’Donnell, Snorkeling Officer: John Dunne, Equipment Officer: Darren Mullen, Training Officer: Denis O’Loughlin.
Good news for all club members as there has been a reduction in your club fees. Please contact the new treasurer for details. The bad news is that your club fees are due now!
