Hello 2016!

Hello to 2016 and hello to all the possibilities and opportunities that will open up for us.

Whether you believe in making resolutions or not, there is something to be said for having a ‘good think’ about where you are and where you’d like to be. We’d like to do that here at Nenagh.ie and because we are a hyper-local site which promotes all things Nenagh, we’d love your suggestions more than anything. In particular, we want your opinion on two subjects:

Our Online Presence:

Tell us what you would like to see more of in 2016 on our website and our FaceBook page. Want less of something? Tell us that too. Have a suggestion for how we can improve your experience? Yup, we’d love to hear it.

One of our ideas is to offer gift certificates for local retailers right through our website, which will make gift giving nice and easy while simultaneously supporting your town. This will take some serious coordination and web development, but if you think it's a good idea we'd like to look into it further.

Events in Nenagh:

We work closely with the Nenagh Chamber of Commerce and Tipperary County Council to bring events to the Nenagh town centre. This Christmas we brought you the Shop Local/Win Big Contest, Santa's train, Santa's postbox, a free gift wrapping station, Christmas window contest, all the fun at the turning on of the Christmas lights, and so much more. But we want to do even more.

We believe in the promotion of Nenagh, in advocating for what will make Nenagh vibrant, supporting all things that make Nenagh a great place to live, shop, and be. We'd love to hear suggestions you have for events and improvements that you feel we at Nenagh.ie can muster.

We may not be able to do everything suggested, but if money and resources are available, we will take all suggestions seriously.

Send an e-mail to editor@nenagh.ie and let us know your ideas.
