A defibrillator was installed on the wall of Bank of Ireland at Market Cross on Monday last. The device was provided in a joint initiative involving the HSE, Order of Malta and Nenagh Lions Club. Training has been provided in the community and there are plans for installment of more devices in the future.
If the device is required dial 999 or112 and ask for ambulance service control. The operator will then provide a number to open the digital lock on the box.
