A note from the Bank of Ireland to its customers:
Hope you, your colleagues and families are all safe and well at this uncertain time
I just wanted to make contact with you to make you aware of the supports that Bank of Ireland have put in place to assist our customers during these unprecedented times.
We have set up a Customer Care Hub on our website with a comprehensive range of supports for customers during the COVID-19 national emergency.
These include payment breaks for mortgages and loans, and banking services for people who are in self isolation and waiving fees for contactless payments.
For more information on these supports, as well the latest information on branches, please click here.
Our phone lines are very busy right now and customers may experience a delay getting to speak with our colleagues.
We are doing everything we can to improve our service times but it is challenging. In line with social distancing guidelines, we had to reduce the number of customer service representatives in our call centres.
There are other ways to get your questions answered or to do what you need to do:
We understand that it may be frustrating trying to get through. If you cannot get online or use online or mobile banking please contact me or my team here in Nenagh, Roscrea, Thurles and Templemore
If required I or any of my colleagues are available to answer any questions or support in any way we can.
