Two Key elements that maybe of interest to you and your communities

Begin Together Fund will provide valuable investment for community initiatives across Ireland. It will support financial, mental and physical wellbeing projects and will be supported by our volunteers and guided by our expert partners.

The Begin Together Fund provides valuable investment for community initiatives that will make a real difference in towns and villages. We want to get behind those trying to make the lives of others in their communities better by improving their financial, physical and mental wellbeing. Whatever their ideas, we want to help them to succeed through our new and enhanced fund. Every year for the next three years, we will be inviting charities and community organisations to apply to the Begin Together Fund for grants of between €3,000 to €5,000 to enable them bring projects that support financial, physical and mental wellbeing (or a combination of these) to life.   We aim to support over 100 projects in this way each year.

Begin Together Awards will recognise and honour the great work done by those striving to lead their communities forward and empower local economies. This will bring the existing National Enterprise Town Awards (NETA) programme under the new Begin Together umbrella and will expand to the Island of Ireland, The annual competition will run with the support of local authorities and councils

The Begin Together Awards honour all the great work done by those striving to lead their communities forward and empower local economies. We want to recognise businesses and communities by getting behind the activities that will generate investment for towns and villages.  Whatever their vision, we want to help make it a reality. These Awards bring the existing National Enterprise Town Awards (NETA) programme under the Begin Together umbrella and will expand to the Island of Ireland. The annual competition will run with the support of local authorities.
