Brian and Mary Devine have been welcoming guests to Williamsferry Bed and Breakfast for the past 21 years. Here guests enjoy a high standard of accommodation that has been acknowledged by Tripadvisor with Excellence Awards both in 2012 and 2013.
What makes this accommodation so special? The property itself dates back to 1830’s and has a unique style of it’s own. Guests often refer to it as their home away from home. It offers a warm welcome and comfortable surroundings which includes a garden for relaxation. Being centrally located in town and with free car parking on site, it’s location is ideal for the short walk to nearby shops, restaurants, heritage and cultural sites.
Brian takes great pride in shopping locally in Nenagh and using local produce. He prepares his two breads daily, brown soda bread and honey and cinnamon bread, both of which go down a treat with guests. Some have sat in for a demonstration for bread baking and take recipes home with them. Williamsferry also offers an extensive breakfast menu.
Local information is freely available and there are 2 bicycles on site which are available to guests free of charge. Also some wonderful walking and cycling routes nearby. Walking tour of Nenagh or visit Nenagh’s local heritage and genealogy centre or take to the lakes for a beautiful drive to Lough Derg. So wherever you are coming from and for whatever reason, you will always get a big welcome at Williamsferry.
