Walk It, Bike It, Like It Weekend
From Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July, as part of The Gathering, the Walks Group of the Cloughjordan Community Development Committee invites everyone to experience a different view of Irish history during the Cloughjordan: Walk It, Bike It, Like It! weekend.
Under the guidance of archaeologist Caimin O’Brien and experienced, enthusiastic local guides, you will visit castle and churches by bike and historical local areas of Cloughjordan on foot.

Play & Recreation Day
Join us at Nenagh Library on Saturday 6th July from 11.30am to 1.00pm to celebrate National Playday and Recreation Week. There will be fun and games for young children as well as storytelling.

‘FullSet’ at Nenagh Arts Centre
Having received great acclaim for their debut album “Notes At Liberty”, FullSet are quickly becoming one of the most well known bands in the Irish music scene today. Nenagh AFC End of Season Presentations
Nenagh AFC have their end of season party in the Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon on Saturday 6th July from 8.00pm. There will be a Barbeque followed by the band “The Cruises” and then a late night Disco. There will be Junior Team presentations while the BBQ is on and music starts at 10pm.
Tickets are €20 and can be got from Dearan O’Gorman on 086 0744 002 and it is hoped that everyone from parents, supporters and friends turn up to help support the club.
Hospice Gathering in Reidy’s
Preparations are in full swing for the annual Hospice Gathering Fundraiser, which will take place in Reidy’s of Newtown on Saturday night July 6th from 8.30pm. To date over 380,000 Euro has been raised from this annual event over the past 12 years.
It is important to note that all money raised at Hospice Night 2013 will stay in North Tipperary to help fund vital services of the North Tipperary Hospice Home Care movement including home care specialized beds and equipment at a local level and including the work of the ‘Suaimhneas’ Cancer Support Centre in Nenagh.

JACK SA BOSCA Live in The Thatched Cottage
The Thatched Cottage will have music by ‘JACK SA BOSCA’ in the bar on this Saturday 6th July from 9.00pm.
An Evening with Crystal Swing
Crystal Swing will be performing at the Abbey Court Hotel on Sunday 7th July in a fundraiser for Borrisokane Snooker Club. Footloose will also play on the night. Tickets are €15.00 and can be got at reception.
