Relay for Life Tipperary Circle of Hope
On Friday 21st June at 1.00pm, a circle of children and adults will be formed around the base of the beautiful and recently refurbished Nenagh Castle. The Circle of Hope expresses the HOPE that one day we will have a world without cancer that we will find a cure, and that patients who are diagnosed with cancer will have better treatments and outcomes. This event is run in conjunction with Relay for Life Tipperary which takes place in the Toomevara GAA Grounds on the 24th and 25th of August. Please join us and help us build this Circle of Hope and promote a very important event – Relay for Life Tipperary.
Midsummer Buffet for One in Four
The Whiskey Still, Dromineer will host a Midsummer Buffet on Friday 21st June from 5.00pm to 7.30pm in aid of the One in Four Charity. Buffet and Glass of Wine for €10. Tickets available at bar or by phoning 087 7560520.
Tipperary County Board Draw in Andy’s Bar
The second monthly Tipperary County Board draw for 2013-14 is being hosted by the Nenagh Éire Óg GAA Club on Friday, June 21st in Andy’s Bar. Club winner from the first draw, Deirdre Lowney, will be presented with her prize of a car/€10,000. Aside from the normal prizes on offer there will be other confined club prizes on the night. All club members are invited to attend and food and entertainment will be provided – a reminder that people can still sign up for the draw by contacting Marion Ryan or any club officer.
Walking After Midnight
Go “Walking After Midnight” for Stella FM, Community Radio and North Tipperary Hospice on 21st June, Midsummer’s Night, from 11.30pm until 12.30am. Sponsorship cards from Stella FM committee, or make a donation on the night. Taking place at the athletic track next to Borrisokane Community College. Please support these worthy causes and come out and enjoy the craic!
American Wrestling Roadshow
Wrestling Superstars will collide in an epic encounter inside the ring that’ll grip the Nenagh audience’s attention like nothing you have seen before. This is a fantastic chance to have a great night out with friends and family at an affordable price. In recent years stars such as Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre, Mason Ryan and of course Ireland’s own Sheamus have appeared in similar venues throughout the country. This bone-crunching event is catered towards kids both young and old!
