The final day of the Tournament takes place on Saturday bringin a close to the event that started on 21st June.
At 7pm Friday the Mid Summer 6K Family Walk takes place along the N52 walkway. You can register at Rocky's Bar in Kickam St, Nenagh, from 6pm.
The Cloughjordan Festival, running from Wednesday, 26th June to Sunday, 30th June, comprises five days of arts, music, food, sport, and family fun.
2013 is the seventh year of the Cloughjordan Festival, and there really is something for pretty much everyone. With art exhibitions, workshops in silversmithing, pottery, glass fusing, and painting; concerts; free kids’ sport camps; street games; local Tipperary food with Cloughjordan Community Farm and the Tipperary Food Long Table Dinner at Cloughjordan House; music, film, and street entertainment; a children’s parade and fundraising barbeque for Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, the festival programme is packed with activity.
Cloughjordan House are celebrating the gathering Ireland with a long table dinner for 80 guests. The theme is Irish food from lots of our local food heroes, including a hog roast, homemade breads, cheese, dessert, chocolates and wine. The theme for the evening is a familiar party style, with lots of carefully selected platters of local food to be shared among guests.
Nenagh Ormond RFC presents Strictly Come Dancing! This promises to be a great night’s entertainment so grab your friends and come along to vote for your favourite couple.
“Who’s the Boss” are playing live music in the Bar at the Thatched Cottage this Saturday.
It’s the beginning of the tourist season at the small island community of Amity. When a gigantic white shark begins to terrorize the coastline, the police chief is forced to make some tough decisions. Employing a marine scientist and a grizzled fisherman, he sets out to kill the creature. The original summer blockbuster comes to life again in the centre of Nenagh.
