Nenagh Ormond RFC Host #Livelife Walk Participants
Nenagh Ormond RFC is delighted to welcome the Donal Walsh #Livelife Walk to Nenagh on Friday, February 7th. Donal Walsh’s father, Fionnbar and the Transition Year students from Mercy Mounthawk & Donal’s own school of CBS The Green (Tralee) along with Members of Tralee RFC will be arriving in Nenagh around 2.00pm to 2.30pm as part of their walk from The Aviva Stadium on route to Thomand Park.
On their travel’s they will be collecting for 3 very important charities – Donal’s #Livelife Foundation, the CMRF Crumlin Children’s Hospital and Tralee RFC Charities. So please support them on their journey. They will be covering 20 miles per day and play a sporting game at their host venue as well as having Donal’s dad and teachers, friends and celebrities talk about the #Livelife theme. On arrival to Nenagh Donal's father will be talking in the three secondary schools and hopefully to parents at the club to help promote Donal’s #LiveLife message.
Friday Night Bingo at Nenagh Arts Centre
There will be Bingo in Nenagh Arts Centre on Friday, February 7th at 8.30pm that will support Nenagh Arts Centre and Nenagh Celtic Football Club in their work.
Toomevara Camogie Club Poker Classic
The Annual Toomevara Camogie Club Poker Classic takes place this Friday 7th Feburary in Young’s of Latteragh @ 9.30pm. All skill levels are catered for. Entry €20. Everyone Welcome and Prizes are Pro Rata.
Table Quiz in Aid of Multiple Sclerosis
There will be a Table Quiz in Moneygall on Friday 7th February to help raise money for Multiple Sclerosis at 9.30 in Ollie Hayes’s. Table of 4 is only €20 and there will be a raffle and Prizes on the night.
Nenagh Indoor Market Goes Red for Irish Heart Foundation
The traders of the Nenagh Indoor Market are organising a coffee morning social event in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation on Saturday, 8th of February. The market and the traders will go red for the day and are inviting you and your family and friends to join them between 10am and 3pm and enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee and sample some of the products on offer.
There will be music and face painting, lots of balloons and a great friendly atmosphere. The purpose of the event is to increase awareness and fund raise in a sociable and fun way, so put on your red hat or scarf or whatever you have and come along and enjoy the event.
Mickey Mouse & Friends Tribute at The Abbey Court
Mickey Mouse and Friends will be at the Abbey Court Hotel this weekend Saturday 8th February @ 3pm. All the kids favourite characters, all on one stage. Tickets available on arrival, doors open at 2.30pm.
Portrait Painting Day
Nenagh Arts Centre presents a day of portrait painting and drawing in the atmospheric surrounding of the theatre on Saturday 8th February from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. The day will be split into two sessions of portrait painting, with tuition at hand from a professional artist. This workshop is perfect for those familiar with figure painting and those who would like to try it for the first time. Admission: €25
North Tipp Wheelers Pre-Racing Season Leg Wax
North Tipperary Wheelers in support of Pieta House (Suicide & Self Harm Crisis Centre) are hosting a Pre-Racing Season Leg Wax in The Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon on Saturday, February 8th at 9.00pm. All members are asked to support this event on the night as the club will be making a donation to Pieta House (Nenagh) from the proceeds. Waxing is being kindly sponsored by Lucienne: Tres Belle Beauty Salon. There will be music and food on the night.
