Ukrainian Refugee Project Community Car Driver.

Job Description:
This role is to transport individuals/families from their homes to their destination as part of the NTDC Ukrainian Refugee Project as a Community Driver. Duties: Working closely with administration to ensure an efficient service delivery. Keep detailed records of trips undertaken in respect of mileage, fuel usage etc. Displaying courtesy, respect and a caring/considerate approach to clients. Confidentiality in respect to clients and the trips taken. Assisting all clients safely into and out of the vehicle. Driving with consideration for safety and comfort of all passengers and ensuring all passengers adhere to regulations. Maintaining daily cleanliness of vehicle both inside and out. Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks daily. Partaking in all related training programmes organised or deemed necessary. Ensuring license is valid and reporting to the Line Manager. Ensuring all safety measures such as fire equipment and first aid boxes are fully operational and available. Reporting all incidents and accidents involving the vehicle or passengers to the NTDC. Reporting the NTDC immediately any penalty points or other endorsements on your license. Assisting the promotion of the Community Car Project. Essential Requirements: A full, clean driving license. Fluent of good conversational Ukrainian. Desirable: Fluent or good conversational skills in Russian. Basic level of conversational English. Previous experience in public transport and/ore taxi service. Good geographical knowledge of North Tipperary. Excellent customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Terms of Employment: One full-time 37 hours per week position. This is a specific purpose contract until 3st December 2023 and is subject to continued provision of the service and funding availability. Garda Vatting will apply to the post. If the appointee had lived in another country since they were 16, police clearance will be required from any country they lived in for more than 6 months.

Salary: €24,297 - €28,950
