PRODUCTION PLANNER & ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

ABBEY MACHINERY, Well Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary

Due to an internal promotion the following vacancy as arisen:

PRODUCTION PLANNER TO CO-ORDINATE ALL PRODUCTION PLANNING ACTIVITIES

The main tasks of the role are, but not limited to:
• Production scheduling
• Reporting to material outages and planning to remove and improve
• Facilitate production meetings
• Monitoring production output and report on issues
• Issue and report on delivery dates
• Key interface between Factory, Materials, Customer Support and Sales
• Part of the Lean improvement team
• Represent Production and Materials at Engineering meeting


THE PERSON:
• Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline
• Excellent planning and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experienced in Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• 3 years plus in a manufacturing / engineering environment a distinct advantage

As part of our continued growth we now require an ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN REPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION OF ALL PLANT EQUIPMENT

The main task of the role are, but not limited to:
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance plan
• Maximise plant uptime (OEE) to best in class standard
• Ensure H&S compliancy
• Develop and roll out maintenance plans with Team Leaders
• Install, maintain and overhaul equipment as required
• Train others in basic maintenance tasks
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Part of the Lean Improvement team
• Represent Maintenance at Engineering meetings


THE PERSON:
• Third Level Degree/Diploma (Electrical) complimented with an electrical trades qualification
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• 3 years plus experience in hands-on maintenance environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement
