The Tipperary Women’s Mini Marathon will take place on Sunday 28th September 2014 at 10.30am in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
This event is organised by North Tipperary Sports Partnership and South Tipperary Sports Partnerships and is designed to tap into the increasing popularity of running and walking for women in Ireland today.
It is open to females over 18 of all abilities, mobility and fitness levels. We hope to have a large contingent of runners, walkers and, joggers taking part on the day. The route is a 10k (6.2 miles) new flat course around Thurles and is an AAI registered event with chip timing, which makes it a great opportunity for everyone to get an official running /walking time. All finishers will receive a race medallion and goody bag. There will also be numerous spot prizes on the day. This is also a great opportunity to raise funds for your own local charity. This year we will also be donating a €200 to the largest group to register, for a charity of your choice!!
