The Special Olympics Ireland Games take place in Limerick from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th June.
1,500 athletes from the four corners or Ireland will be heading to Limerick to compete in the Special Olympics Ireland Games.
The parade will take place on Thursday June 12th June on O’Connell St in Limerick from 6pm which leads into the Opening Ceremony in People’s Park.
The Games competitions start on Friday 13th June and continue until Sunday 15th June, they are open to the public and people are encouraged to come along to the venues to cheer on the athletes and soak up the amazing atmosphere that these Games always bring.
