Exhibition: Lynn Kenny

An artist and designer living in Ogonnelloe, Co.Clare, Lynn Kenny’s work is unique in that it predominately uses stitch with paper, paint, print and fabric to create unique, colourful and playful artworks which are uplifting and humorous. ‘Stitch offers a great freedom to create interesting mark making and textures, to draw lines and to attach materials together. It has so much potential”.

Lynn’s whimsical artworks use a distinction bird motif and in her abstract work she renders the patterns and structures found in nature. Lynn will create a new body of work inspired by Lough Derg and the surrounding landscape.
