Ann’s Hot Air Day will take place from 2pm on Saturday, 4th of October at KPlan Centre, Kilsheelan. This exciting fundraiser has been organised by the Dempsey family in memory of Ann Dempsey, who sadly passed away from cancer last year. Ann’s husband John and their children are hosting a unique family day in aid of South Tipperary Hospice Movement. The Dempsey Family invite you and your family to join them and remember your lost loved ones along with them on the day. Attendees can write a private note to be enclosed inside a balloon and all balloons will be let off in unison which will make for a specular display of movement, colour and collective effervescence.
Balloons can be purchased for €5 on the day or in advance at Ann’s Hot Air mycharity.ie page, Ann’s Hot Air Day Facebook page or @AnnsHotAir on Twitter, by phone at 052 6184343.
A family fun day theme will be prevalent with bouncy castles, face painting, games and activities on site for the kids. There are superb prizes to be won on the day and Support Groups from all over the county will be in attendance to engage with the crowd whilst promoting upcoming events. Later that evening entertainment will follow with a shave or dye event and music at Robinson’s Pub in Kilsheelan village.
