The Peppermill won 'The Best Customer Service' at the RAI Munster Awards last night for Co. Tipperary.
The category was sponsored by TheTaste.ie and awards were given to the following restaurants:
Clare – Gregans Castle Hotel
Cork – Market Lane
Kerry – The Chart House
Limerick – The Mustard Seed at Echo Lodge
Tipperary – The Peppermill Restaurant
Waterford – La Boheme Waterford
Winning the award was no mean feat. The judging was strenuous with many worthy competitors for the title. Online nominations accounted for only 30% of the total score while regional judging made up the other 70%.
Nominees faced mystery guest inspections, evaluations by industry experts (which included food writers, journalists, academics, and hospitality magazine editors), and a review of their menu.
