Please note the following walks:
April 3rd: Willie (087 2232923) will do a walk around East Clare. This is going to be a new walk for the club and looks like one not to be missed. Willie will take us around Ardeeven Bog East Clare: This is gentle walk of about three hours. Ardeevin means “ Beautiful Height” which is an apt description as this area affords views out over the full length of Lough Derg with its beautiful Islands set against the back drop of the Arrow Mountains. Meet Kenyon car park 11 am and Mountshannon pier at 11.50. am.
17th April there will be a walk at Boora Lake Slieve Blooms leaving at earlier time of 10 o'clock. Contact John 087 2232923.
With the longer and brighter evenings our Tuesday evenings walks are in full swing. April 5th walkers will meet at Spar Shop Portroe at 7.15 to do Millenium Cross, and April 12th members will meet at Costellos shop at 7.10 to do a walk on the Silvermines Mountains. Contact Paddy or Mary.
