Our Sunday walks continue for the Autumn season with the Tuesday and Thursday evening walks soon coming to an end.
Next Sunday the club will travel to the Galtees - Cush which is an A walk. Contact Maura 086 8360621.
Members have a chance to do the Nenagh River Walk on Thursday 27th August meeting at meat factory at 7.15 and Tuesday September 1st meeting at meat factory at 7.30.
The club's weekend away is fastly approaching with the club heading to Bantry, Co. Cork from Friday 25th September. There are some lovely walks planned. Friday the club will head to Whiddy Island. This is an easy walk on the heritage and history of the island.
Saturday 26th, we will do a 17k walk around Sheeps head. This walk will suit any reasonable walker. Sheeps head hosts an unspoilt natural landscape so beautiful it's been recognised as a European District of Excellence.
Sunday 27th, members can do Bantry house and gardens or if preferred take a visit to Garnish Island. Westlodge Hotel Bantry is our accommodation this year and should be contacted directly for availability. Advise them that you are with the Nenagh walking club.
