Nenagh Walking Club - Aonach Ar Siúl 24/03/2019

Members please note the following hikes for your information.  As the club are now offering a wide variety of hikes on different days, it is important that note is taken of the day, meeting time and meeting point of the hikes. The schedule can be checked on neanghwalk.ie. (Note that by-pass walking is now over until the dark evening are upon us again at the end of the summer).

 

Tuesday April 2nd meet Spar Portroe 7.15 for Tountinna from Graves of Leinstermen, B walk, approx 1.5 hours, contact Paddy 086 8562444.

 

Thursday April 4th meet Tesco at 10.30am and Latteragh (Seanins) at 10.45 for a hike around Latteragh. Contact Pat 085 7256650.

 

Saturday April 6th meet Tesco at 10am to do part of the Multeen way (Resika to Cappawhite) 3.5hrs, B Walk, Contact Donie 087 2761442.

 

Sunday April 7th meet Kenyon Street car park at 11am or Step at 11.20 for a challenging 4-5 hour hike from Step to Keeper. Contact Willie 087 6633577.

 

Non-members are welcome to do 3 walks before joining the club, however, we would ask that non members would contact the walk leader prior to the walk to ensure that they have the fitness level required for the walk and discuss walking gear requirement.  Likewise any members unsure of hike suitability should ring walk leader before the hike.

 

Membership of the club is €45 which includes membership of Mountaineering Ireland and also covers insurance from November to October. Hiking boots essential for all hill walks. Absolutely no runners. Visit  our website nenaghwalk.ie for further information about the club and upcoming walks.
