Nenagh Walkers enjoying the lovely sunshine and fabulous view on their recent walk along the Great Southern trail Greenway with a view of the Ballyhouras in the background.
This is a hidden gem and the club would definitely recommend this greenway for walking and cycling. Thanks to John who looked after us on the day.
Next item on the walker's diary is our Willie Kennedy Memorial weekend in West Clare which will take place on 27/05/2016 - 29/5/2016 based in the Falls Hotel Ennistymon. Saturday registration in the hotel reception between 9-10 contact Pat 085 1741411. Walk will be the Doolin to Cliffs of Moher walk.
Sunday will see the club do a walk around the Burren. Contact Aidan 087 9836750.
There will be a voluntary collection over the weekend and donations will go to friends of St Luke's Hospital. The club would like to thank Pat for organising this weekend and also thank Pat and Aidan for leading the walks.
Upcoming Sunday walk to watch out for is a trip to Slieve Reagh, Ballyhouras.
Tuesday evening hikes continue with Keeper and the Arra mountains over the next few weeks.
