Nenagh St Patrick’s Day Parade 2015

Are you joining us?

The Nenagh St Patrick’s Day parade committee are busy preparing for the 2015 Parade and would like to encourage you to participate. Their chairperson Cllr Hughie McGrath tells us the Committee are delighted with the support coming from the locality.

“Entries are coming in steadily but it’s still not too late to get your entry form in”.

Hughie told us ” We encourage all community groups, sporting groups, Arts, Businesses etc to come on board and join our parade. We are also encouraging our entrants to be colourful and entertaining as you have done in the past years, this can be kept simple for example a sporting group could display their skills while they walk in their colours, or a business advertising their  services could dress up their vehicle or have their walkers in festive costumes.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the Nenagh Municipal District website at http://www.tipperarycoco.ie or by contacting Hughie McGrath on 087 2559323.

Nenagh will be looking its best on the day, with the town bedecked in flags and colour and shopkeepers are again encouraged to have their premises looking extra colourful and festive as they have in past years. We have planned many activities in conjunction with this year’s parade, representing all interests from music and dancing to art and face painting, Nenagh is the place to be to celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2015 Tuesday the 17th of March starting at 2 PM.

If you would like to help the organising committee in preparation activities or stewarding on the day please contact our Chairperson Hughie on the above number.
