This Friday night, September 4th, we invite all members to attend a discussion forum at the NORFC clubhouse in Lisatunny at 8pm. We hope you will bring your ideas and opinions for the future of our club.
Nenagh Ormond Ladies
Nenagh Ormond Ladies Rugby Team hope to start their season this weekend with a friendly against Thurles in preparation for their League Campaign. Please see our website and Facebook page where details of the match will be posted as soon as they are available.
Training takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm at the club in Lisatunny and all new players are welcome. No previous experience is necessary so if you want to get fit, make new friends and be part of a great team call Sandra on 087 7916690 or June on 086 3827180 for more information or pop out to training to give it a try!
Mini Training
Training for our Mini players will begin this Sunday, 6th September, at 10am in Lisatunny.
Mini rugby at Nenagh Ormond RFC caters for boys and girls from Under 7 to Under 12. Participation and fair play are the cornerstone of our Mini teams with coaches focusing on developing these values along with the technical skills needed for the sport. Children are introduced to rugby in games with reduced numbers where they can hone these skills in a sporting and friendly environment.
Blitzes take place regularly between Nenagh Ormond Minis and mini teams from clubs around the country, as well as from abroad. Our Mini players will have the use of an all-weather facility later in the season if required. All new players welcome.
Under 13s
Under 13 Training moves to the later time of 7.00pm from this Wednesday night, September 2nd (Finish at 8.15pm). Please ensure that all players have a gum shield for training. New players always welcome!
Referees Wanted!
Ever thought about becoming a referee? It's a great way to stay involved in your club and in the sport!
Munster Rugby are looking for Community Referees to take charge of youth fixtures in their own area. Anyone interested please contact us for details.
